Those surprising turn of events that lead to happy moments to cherish.

The itinerary for the night was a visit at Fantasyland, dubbed as the only theme park in Mindanao. Excuse me if I sound snooty, but I never appreciated theme parks. What others see as fun rides and awesome structures, I see staged experiences. I opted to stay in the hotel in Dipolog City, where we were booked. (This hotel deserves another article of its own).

But, colleague Adrian Amatong, managing editor of Mindanao Observer in Dipolog sent a message through Facebook asking if I was in town, and there was but that night to spare.
